In July 2026, F7 Collective hosted our third major event at NOCO Island in Fort Collins, bringing together 50 community members, including 30+ children, for a day centered on mentorship, connection, and life-changing inspiration. This wasn't just an event — it was a collaboration built on shared purpose.

We partnered with Gold Boys Basketball, a nonprofit basketball organization dedicated to youth development, a local boy scout troop, and young men receiving mentorship through the Colorado juvenile correctional system. Working alongside NOCO Island staff and supported by three of our board members—Charles Smith (Founder), Christopher Thomas (Programs), and Anthony Ramsey (Partnerships)—along with one of our youth mentors, we created a space where youth from different backgrounds could come together around shared values.

The centerpiece of the day was Charles Smith's powerful personal speech. Speaking to both children and adults, Charles shared his raw and honest journey: his struggles with the drug and gang worlds, his time in federal prison, and the critical lessons that led him out. He wasn't speaking as an outside expert or a distant success story—he was speaking as someone who lived it, survived it, and chose to build something different.

For young people at critical junctures in their lives—some facing the same pulls and pressures Charles once faced—this was more than words. It was a roadmap. A living example that the path can change. That resilience, accountability, and community support can break cycles of violence and incarceration.

This is what F7 Foundation does: we show up where it matters, with people who matter, doing work that has the potential to change lives.

On Mother's Day 2026, F7 Foundation brought its community to Samaritan House — a Catholic Charities homeless shelter in Denver — to serve lunch and distribute hygiene supplies to the families living there. The afternoon was built around one idea: that every mother, regardless of circumstance, deserves to feel seen and celebrated.

We served over 100 residents, including more than 60 children and 30 mothers. Tables were set, meals were plated, and time was spent — not just dropped off. The goal was presence, not just provision.

None of this would have been possible without the generosity of F7's donors, friends, and family who showed up for this event — whether through financial contributions, time on the ground, or simply spreading the word. This community made it happen.

We are also deeply grateful to the three local restaurants who partnered with us to provide the food: Casa Mariachi in Parker, Real De Minas in Aurora, and Zane's Italian Bistro in Denver. Their commitment to the community made the meal possible and the afternoon memorable.
